About Magical Mala Designs

Hi, I'm Lottie — the maker, dreamer, and crystal lover behind Magical Mala Designs.

My journey into jewellery began long before I ever picked up a bead. For over two decades, yoga, meditation, and mindfulness have been my anchors — daily practices that have carried me through life's challenges and supported my mental health in ways I'm endlessly grateful for. Alongside this, I've always been captivated by the natural world: the way minerals form deep within the earth over thousands of years, and how they emerge as something so extraordinary and beautiful.

In 2020, during the quiet of the pandemic, I made my first mala. It was a deeply personal act — a way of channelling stillness, intention, and healing during an uncertain time. The process of stringing each bead, one by one, was meditative in itself, and the finished piece felt like something truly meaningful. When friends and family saw it and asked if I could make one for them, Magical Mala Designs was born.

Since then, my craft has grown and evolved. Discovering wire wrapping opened up a whole new world of possibility — allowing me to work with an even wider range of semi-precious stones and create a beautiful variety of pieces, from rings and pendants to earrings and beyond. Each design is shaped by my love of crystals, my passion for the natural world, and my belief that what we wear can be a quiet reminder of how we want to feel.

Every piece I create is made with care, intention, and a deep respect for the stones themselves. I hope that when you wear something from Magical Mala Designs, you carry a little of that magic with you.
